INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT THERAPIST – PART TIME

LICENSURE:  LMHC, LCSW, LCAC or LMFT (will consider LMHCA or LCACA)

Reports to PROGRAM DIRECTOR / CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

LOCATION 406 East Sycamore Street, Kokomo, IN

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Intensive Outpatient Therapist (Part-time) for a women’s substance abuse treatment and recovery program. At the Gilead House, you will have the opportunity to help residents pursue their goal of living responsible, drug-free lives. Intensive Outpatient Therapist you are responsible for:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions in an intensive outpatient group setting for 3 hours per session, three days per week
  • Provide individual and family-based therapeutic interventions (if applicable)
  • Assess and support clients who are experiencing the disease of addiction or a substance use disorder (if applicable)
  • Assess and support clients who may be experiencing co-occurring mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, or emotional dysregulation (if applicable)
  • Communicate effectively with other staff, clients, clinicians, parents, or family members of clients, and outside patient providers
  • Display hospitality to guests and clients, exhibiting a willingness to create a meaningful and uniquely better experience for our clients
  • Maintain confidentiality for patients, families, and the center by abiding by all HIPAA regulations; Follow all other applicable laws, including CFR42
  • Exhibit commitment and dedication to practicing ethically and equitably
  • Learn and use the company-required software, such as Therapy Notes
  • Provide training and support to other staff as applicable
  • Know and follow the policies and procedures of the Gilead House
  • Display positivity and a willingness to encourage team morale
  • Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasks

QUALIFICATIONS &  REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least 2 years of previous clinical experience, preferably in the areas of mental health and addictions
  • Must be comfortable and competent in working with individuals who have experienced complex mental, emotional, or relational trauma
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group and managing small-group dynamics.

RESIDENTIAL STAFF POSITION

DETAILS

$13 an hour | Paid weekly | Part-Time  | 8 hour Shifts and Schedules vary from 16-24hrs

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Support Staff (Part-time) for a women’s substance abuse treatment and recovery program. At the Gilead House, you will have the opportunity to help residents pursue their goal of living responsible, drug-free lives. As a Residential Support Staff, you are responsible for:

  • Medication Monitoring.
  • Administering Drug Screens.
  • Overseeing the duties of the facility and residents (visitors).
  • Ensuring client/house guests are following rules & guidelines as outlined in the Resident Handbook.
  • Monitoring the resident’s weekly schedule, when applicable.
  • Maintain an activity log and regularly meet with the program manager regarding recovery program activities.
  • Identifying concerns brings issues to the Program Manager or Executive Director.
  • Offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Assisting with facilitating house meetings and other similar meetings.
  • Maintaining the storage room.

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT STAFF REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • First Aid and CPR Training
  • Universal Precautions
  • Knowledge of addition/recovery processes along with related resources
  • Experience working with recovery individuals
  • There are no specific minimum physical requirements for this position other than the ability to perform the job duties listed above.
  • Must pass a drug screen
  • Must pass a criminal background check
