The Gilead House has saved my life and my purpose again. I came here from jail; I had lost my home, and I had lost my kids in a DCS case. I have been an addict for most of my adult life, but with the help of the Gilead House, I am gaining everything back. I have been clean for over a year, I have gotten my driver’s license, I now get four visits a week with my children, my DCS case is coming to a close, and I am looking for a place to reunite. I now work at a job that I love. I bought a car, and I look forward to the future. I love the Gilead House. Ms. Reba and the staff have changed my life and helped make everything possible for me to grow and succeed.

The Gilead House has been a safe place to develop the tools needed to nurture and maintain my sobriety.  More than that, these women and this house have become a second home and family, full of love, encouragement, guidance, and hope.  I am so grateful to Ms. Reba, Kylee, Sherry, and all of the staff for believing in me.  With their help, I have learned that God has a greater plan for me. I am worthy and I can succeed.  Thank God for the Gilead House and all who serve there.
